How do I make a video become public

1) You connect to your filebox.ro account

2) If you don't have a video in your account, you upload it through the upload interface (Tutorial available).

3) Once the video is uploaded you access the link "My movies" in your account
4) From the right side of the screen you select the option "Private videos". Here you will find all the video type files (with the extension .avi, .mpg, etc), that are not yet published.
5) Press the "Make public" button near the file. (the round button with a green arrow from the right of the above image). You will enter a window with the video details:
6) In this window you must fill in

- Video title - you choose a representative title. If you just want to use the file name, we recommend to eliminate the extension from the name, in this case the part with ".mpeg"

- Video description - You enter an accurate description of the file. In this case the description is "Capoeira - Brasilian fight style"

- Tags - keywords for the video. You add simple words with space between them. In this case we recommend : brasilian fight capoeira . It is recommended a minimum of 2-3 keywords (tags) but no more than 10. The keywords are extremely important when someone uses the search function on the site. A well chosen series of keywords will help the other users to find easier the videos they want.

- Category - Select the category where the video fits in. Being a fight style, this video fits in the category "Sport"

If the video contain scenes inappropriate to minors (in conformity with the general human standards, not in conformity with your standard J ), check the option. The video will appear on the site but the users will have to confirm they are over 18 years. This is necessary to keep the minors away of the materials inadequate for their age, materials which legally are considered harmfukl for them.

Read the Terms and Conditions and check the corresponding option.

Finally, press the button "Encode".

Now the publishing command is sent to the Filebox system. The efective publishing will take from 5 minutes to 1 hour, depending of the number of videos published in that period of time by Filebox users. While being processed, the video will appear in the section "Public videos" from your account, mentioning "in queue.." while waiting to be taken by the system, then "Processing". When the option "Processing" will dissappear, the video will be available public on the site, and you or anyone else will be able to access it.
